January? Really? Oh... right. Six months of marriage? Oh... right.


So I have this awesome friend named Lindsey Nelson and she reminded me that I am pretty behind on blogging, so here I am, with no idea what I'll say yet. For some reason I love to blog in lists.. I guess we'll find out whats on my mind.


If you say you want to wait 5 years to have a baby and then you get married you will probably change your mind. I can't wait to start my cute little eternal family. That's why I'm here isn't it? YES.



Before I started working at an assisted living facility, I thought I had a pretty good understanding of old people. I missed something though. Yes, they are experienced, tired, and often waiting to die. I just didn't realize that they need family and friends more than ever. I think they deserve to finish their lives happy and feel appreciated for their years of service.



So we've been married for six months. For all of you who have any less marriage experience than I do... I have one word for you. Compromise. Oh and just remember that you're on the same team. That's all the marriage advice I have. You'll be happy :)



Don't loose yourself. It's just so easy to do. Lately I'll suddenly realize parts of me that have disappeared. I have a creative side that keeps me balanced. I have weird little habits, like coming up with alliteration titles (probably doesn't make sense), finding traffic cones, and writing down lines that one day i might write a book around. When I realized I had lost these habits for a few months, I realized that's what was missing. I don't just want to be a wife and eventually a mother, but I want to be Ali. Forever.


Do you like how all my paragraphs are different shapes and sizes? Haha I am soo good at this. Like I said... I have nothing to say.

Except that I can't wait for JaNae Booth to have her big day in less than 2 weeks!!!! Lucky girl, it's just the best thing ever.
